Marc Goldman Goldbar CEO Issues Apology Video
It was a great surprise to get an email from Marc Goldman, the CEO of Goldbar.net - issuing an apology to the customers of his e-commerce system. In a video, shot from the balcony of his house overlooking the ocean in Miami Beach Florida, Mark told why he was making this apology - and more importantly - what he had in store for the people who subscribed to his marketing information or used his software.
Marc Goldman is a brilliant marketer, and his dream child Goldbar software has an ambitious task - blowing away 1shoppingcart.com.
We tested their system for 3 months as Mark and his team gave us a free account and lots of attention.
But in the end there were just far too many bugs and they were donig nearly all the new features "on the fly."
We began to feel like guinea pigs - and just bit the bullet and moved our email list to Aweber. Well, it did help our decision a lot when Mark got mad and pulled the plug on our free accounts and got snarky with us.
We wish the best for Mark and hope he is able to get the programming team and the code up to the vision he has for being the one total solution for Internet shopping ecommerce systems.

Marc may be a heck of a good guy, but I’ve found it impossible to contact him. The Goldbar1 site has some great features and I really want to be able to use it - but his “help” is impossible!
Nice guys, but they don’t really speak English very well. So they try, but… They don’t always understand the question. And when it takes 2 days to get an email back from the help desk it isn’t much use even if they did give a sensible answer.
I’ve tried figuring out a way to contact Marc, but to no avail.
Didn’t hear the video - I live where there is no high speed connection and my satellite service brings it to me in little chunks. No fun. Guess video is just for “city folks.”
Anyway - if you ever talk to Marc, tell him some of his customers would love to have a way to contact him.
