Where in the world is my Online Marketing Monthly Magazine?

Onlin Marketing Magazine Mail man

The last time we saw 10,000 copies of the July issue of Online Marketing Monthly magazine - they were loading them into the dock of the United States Post Office in Durango in Southern Colorado.

Yes, there were tears - as we sent our beautiful baby off into the world to share the love.

Now it is Tuesday and we figured we'd be hearing from "the kid" but the silence has been deafening.

Please do us a favor and if you have gotten a copy of the magazine - please post a comment here on this post.

Let us know what state you are in - and what you think of the magazine and don't forget to put the URL of your website in your comment - so we can say HI to you!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Rick Butts

PS: We are working on a super cool bonus to add to the subscription so that once you burn through your free issue - you can sign up for your subscription and get the cool bonus!

Stevie Knight @ 1:59 pm:

Hey guys,

Just got the magazine yesterday. Now my husband and I don’t usually fight over who gets to read magazines first, but I’ll tell you that I had to wait until he left his office for a few minutes to steal my magazine back!

It’s just that Online Marketing Monthly magazine had some of the best, most practical articles I’ve seen in a magazine. Several of these articles, in particular the one on Everyzing.com, had ideas I was compelled to put into action today!

It’s about time internet marketers had a magazine. But I’m so impressed with what you’ve done. You really exceeded my expectations. Thanks.

To your success!

I got my issue today in Phoenix.

I already read it and enjoyed. Some useful content.

I look forward to the next issue!

I just received the July 2007 Online Marketing Monthly magazine a couple days ago.

I’m very impressed with the value of the content.

You’ve certainly got all the best of the best contributing to your articles. Jack Humphrey, Michael Fortin, Donna Fox, and of course Rick Butts and Nathan Anderson.

The article on The Long Tail by Chris Anderson has peaked my interest. I actually have the book on my book shelf but haven’t read it yet. Great article on the Reality Show contest that Joel Comm is doing. Learning from Donna Fox that women control 85% of the shopping budget puts a new spin on whom to include in your marketing plan, doesn’t it?

Oh, and I have to thank you for exposing me to EveryZing. Speech to Text conversion and searching on text in media files, now that’s a tool I’ve been waiting for, for 15 years since I worked at a company that developed handwriting recognition software.

So, yes, I received the first issue, your baby is in good hands, and I’m looking forward to next month’s articles!

I received my Online Marketing Monthly yesterday. It is really awesome. It’s great to have a magazine where you know the people in it! And the information is wonderful. Thanks so much. By the way, I live in Cincinnati, OH.

Rec’d my first issue in Pennsylvania yesterday - had an uninterrupted 4 hours this morning to read through the magazine. How wonderfully impressive and revealing. Glad there’s a month before the next issue so that I can use that time to fix a bunch of my web stuff based on the info in the magazine. I subscribed! …and I put sign-up links on some web pages and blog posts. Also sent them to my mail lists. Quality product and content. Thanks.

Would you believe…

Down here in the sometimes sunny south (Tampa, FL) just yesterday a letter carrier carefully placed my Premiere Issue of OMM in my mailbox.

Shortly thereafter my wife and visiting granddaughter retrieved it and placed it gently on the table to await my return.

Upon looking at Joel’s picture adorning the cover both my wife and granddaughter thought it bore quite a resemblence to my ex-son-in-law.

The magazine is excellent.

Hi.

I’m Paula Frye from Ohio. I received my copy of Online Marketing Monthly, and I loved every single word of it! I’m thrilled to see a magazine that is targeted straight to what I do all day long. I’ve been a full-time Online Marketer for 7 years now, and it’s great to have something of this high quality to read (and enjoy immensely I might add) :-)

Thanks so much for the free issue. I have been busy visiting the websites of every ad placed in your magazine and seeing what they have to offer.

Take care,
Paula Frye

I just got mine too last week. What a great idea. I’m a little surprised at the high news stand price but other than that the content is top notch.

I’m in Elizabethtown Pa… My wife is a director of marketing for a very big well know company and I think this has peaked her interest in internet marketing.

Rec’d mine 7/27 in NJ. Haven’t read it yet

California Guy @ 5:24 pm:

Did anyone ever receive a 2nd or more issues? I never did. Nobody returns my emails either.

The contact phone [800-715-5390] voicemail at http://ommweb.com/ is full and not taking any more messages.

Just left a message for Jack Humphrey on his contact page
http://www.jackhumphrey.com/fridaytrafficreport/contact/

Hey California Guy,

The magazine never produced a 2nd issue.

It went bankrupt - kaput - schnookies.

It was a great idea but didn’t have the legs to get off the ground.

California Guy @ 10:08 pm:

Jack just got back to me also and said the same thing. That’s unfortunate.
